HSK Chapter Award - Rendevouz 2017
Our Chapter was honoured to have been awarded the Canadian Hemophilia Society's Chapter Recognition Award at Rendezvouz in Toronoto, ON.

2016 Annual Christmas Party
On November 26th, 2016 we held our Family Christmas party at the Radisson Hotel Saskatoon. It was an a great gathering, in the afternoon there was swimming and snacks, then a wonderful evening of cocktails and as supper buffet, followed by some Christmas caroling, gifts for the kids, and a wine pull for the adults. Thank-you to Hemophilia Saskatchewan for providing rooms for those members who were from out of town, to our board members who worked tirelessly to put together such a great event, it was nice to see the everyone enjoy themselves so much, the adults had time to visit, and the kids were able to go swimming, and/or visit with other kids. Thank-you to the Radisson Hotel for hosting our group, and for the wonderful meal!

2016 Women and Bleeding Disorder Conference in Saskatoon, SK
Our 2nd Women and Bleeding Disorder's Conference was a grand success. It brought together women from across Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta and was perfect blend of education, fun, socialization. There is a special strength that comes when stories are shared and common grounds are laid. Friendships are made, and there is a discovery that no one is alone in the world of bleeding disorders.
A special thank you to our key note speaker - our very own Dr. Carolyn Hart and all the SBDP staff who contributed. We also had Milena Pirnat from Manitoba who lead our session on testimonials and shared her own experiences as a Hemophilia Mother. We all got active with a NIA session that allowed us to experience music and movement, and moved us to laughter. We capped it all off with a show from mentalist Jeff Richards. It was a wonderful weekend, of wonderful women, and experiences that made us feel like we are not alone.
